Jump to the full entry & travel map Puriscal, Costa Rica I took a spill on the way to work today. Due to the tropical climate and poor drainage, the sidewalks are perpetually damp and covered in a thin slime, and are peppered with short steep driveways. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, and frankly I'm surprised I held out this long. At least I had the good sense to fall forward, so my laptop in my backpack wasn't damaged (I brought it in to show the students my sloth clips)
