Let’s take a cue from the interminably long presidential primary and start speculating on who wants to be Modesto’s next mayor. I’m not pulling this out of thin air. Tongues wag, and they insist that several incumbent council members are preparing mayoral campaigns just six months after Jim Ridenour won re-election in an uncontested race.
